There’s a lot of contenders, a lot of pretenders, but this is my winner. Liam Neeson in Taken, a ridiculously good movie that I can watch over and over again without ever getting tired of it.
Rented Hot Pursuit and Duke Nukem Forever…
Wish I would have bought Hot Pursuit a long time ago. I let a few bad reviews influence me from not buying it… this shit is fun.
As far as DNF, I had to play it at least once. What I don’t understand is how after all these years, all these good action games and shooters to look at and see how to do something right, 2K Games STILL got it wrong. The gameplay is clunky as shit, the original Unreal Tournament which came out over 12 years ago played with more fluidity than this game.
So last night…
A Colonel came up to me after our band’s show and asked if I was a professional DJ because of my work with operating the stage lights. X_X Not yet.
Though it would be fun to acquire all the equipment necessary to do that post-Army. Everyone at the event we played was clearly much more into the DJ’s set list than our band, and he didn’t have nearly as much equipment to unload, setup, tear down and load up as we did.
Not only that, you do your own thing and don’t have to split the money with band members… and you don’t have to rehearse. Seriously, I need to jump on this biz!
To the ladies who protest that women are as good as men when it comes to sports…
You should have been with me today when I ran by a boy and girl playing catch with a big bouncy ball in the park. He threw it to her and:
